We are about to start....I hope I can make it!
Let me share a brief word about what I hope to do here.
I came across the idea for a Project 365 photo-a-day kind of deal quite a while ago, but never really considered actually doing it myself. Well, something must have clicked/snapped somewhere, because earlier this month I was taken by the desire to give the project a spin.
So....what is Project 365?!
The fundamental idea is simple: capture and publish one photo a day, every day for a year. For me, this is simply a motivation to take my camera out and 'do some art' every day. Different photogs sometimes shoot on different themes - I'll be free-styling it (Maria's term). Maybe interject the odd themed week here and there. We'll see.
What happens if you miss a day? Some people quit, but it seems like a waste of effort to do that. I think I will continue. Of course, I hope that doesn't happen!
Maria and Gracey are joining me for at least the first month. We'll see after that!
